The Mountainbrook Civic Association was organized to perform functions, as a group, which might not be feasible on an individual basis. It is a non-profit organization, with the officers and directors serving without remuneration.
· Beautification and maintenance of medians and common areas
· Neighborhood phone directory-published annually for MCA members
· Newsletter-published quarterly to keep homeowners informed and Involved
· Social events-sponsoring year round event that includes: Winter holiday luminaries, family events for Spring, and Halloween
The officers and directors welcome your comments, complaints and suggestions. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month in a member's home. All residents are invited and encouraged to attend.
Each neighbor is requested to contribute an annual fee of $75.00. Residents moving into Mountainbrook during the year are asked to pay only a pro-rated share. Your support is a crucial element in the success of this committee.
Also available in the neighborhood are the Mountainbrook Swim Club, the Anne Heinig Memorial Park, and the Garden Lovers of Mountainbrook. Although these organizations are separate from the Association, each works in coordination to build a better ommunity.
